About Our Workshops

Welcome to our self-paced workshop series! These workshops are thoughtfully curated by an Early Childhood Educator with extensive and varied experience in the field. Each topic reflects current and relevant issues in Early Learning and Care, ensuring that you are engaging with the most meaningful and up-to-date professional development opportunities. 

What to Expect

Each workshop includes:

  • Light Readings – accessible and engaging resources to introduce core concepts
  • Scenarios – real-world examples that connect directly to early learning practice
  • Reflection & Prompt Questions – opportunities to deepen your thinking, guided by the BC Early Learning Framework

Certificate of Completion

To receive a certificate for your professional development hours, you must complete and submit the scenarios, reflections, and prompt questions provided in the workshop.

Submission Instructions:

  1. Email your completed responses to: submissions@wishuponastar.com
  2. In the email subject line, please write: Workshop Submission – Your First and Last Name
  3. In the body of the email, include:
    • Your full name
    • Your completed answers to all scenarios, reflection, and prompt questions

Once your submission has been received and reviewed, a certificate will be issued confirming the number of hours for your workshop.
