With over 17 years of experience in early childhood education, the founder of Wish Upon A Star has worked as an educator, director, consultant, childcare start-up, project manager, curriculum writer, and college instructor. She holds full ECE, Infant/Toddler, and Special Needs certifications and is in the final stages of completing her degree in the Early Childhood field.
Throughout her career, she has been passionate about supporting educators, strengthening childcare programs, and creating meaningful learning experiences for children.
Wish Upon A Star was created to provide practical resources, professional development, and guidance that help educators and early learning programs grow with confidence.
From policy development to pedagogical guidance, our consulting services are designed to support early learning programs with practical, thoughtful solutions.
We work closely with each client to understand their unique needs, offering thoughtful, customized solutions and ongoing support. As co-learners and researchers in the field, we’re proud to walk alongside our partners, sharing a common vision: to provide exceptional care and meaningful early learning experiences for every child in our communities.
Guided by the BC Early Learning Framework and inspired by the relational philosophies of Reggio Emilia, our company exists to strengthen the field of early learning — offering educators the tools, opportunities, and inspiration to thrive in their work and honour the children they teach.
Our mission is to nurture and uplift early childhood educators through meaningful professional development, thoughtful consulting, carefully crafted writing, a trusted job platform, and resources that bring learning to life.
We imagine a community where educators feel supported at every step of their journey – where learning, employment, creativity, and connection meet in one place.
At Wish Upon A Star Early Years Inc., we believe early childhood education is a living ecosystem — a community of children, families, educators, ideas, materials, and the many stories that unfold between them.
