Duration: 1 hour
Slow pedagogy invites educators to step out of urgency and enter the quiet, intentional rhythms of childhood.
In this workshop, educators explore how time, presence, and revisitation shape children’s deep meaning-making. Through the lens of the BC Early Learning Framework and leading early childhood thinkers, participants examine how slowing their internal pace transforms their ability to see, listen, and respond to children’s unfolding inquiries. This workshop highlights the power of revisiting ideas, nurturing long-term investigations, and cultivating an atmosphere of relational calm. Educators leave with reflective practices and real- world strategies for creating environments where children’s thinking can deepen, unfold, and breathe.
