Honoring Indigenous Perspectives in Early Childhood Education

This workshop introduces how Indigenous perspectives, worldviews, and knowledge systems can enrich early childhood education. Grounded in the BC Early Learning Framework and the Indigenous Early Learning and Child Care Framework, educators explore respectful ways of integrating Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing into daily practice. Through readings, reflections, and real-world scenarios, participants learn to create culturally responsive environments and build strong relationships with Indigenous children, families, and communities.
