This workshop explores how risky play supports children’s confidence, resilience, emotional regulation, and physical development. Grounded in the British Columbia Early Learning Framework, educators will reflect on how relationships, trust, and co-regulation create the conditions for children to engage with challenge safely.

Through reflection and practical strategies, educators will strengthen their ability to support risk in ways that promote learning, agency, and well-being.
