About Us

Wish Upon a Star supports educators and childcare facilities with services designed to alleviate operational challenges and reduce stress.

The Heart Behind Wish Upon a Star

Wish Upon a Star Early Education was created with a deep desire to enrich the field of early childhood education. Founded by a passionate educator with over a decade of experience across the sector, the program is grounded in knowledge, care, and a commitment to high-quality practice.

We also support the creation of new centres and the revitalization of existing ones, helping to meet the growing need for childcare spaces in our communities.

From policy development to pedagogical guidance, our consulting services are designed to support early learning programs with practical, thoughtful solutions.

Our Approach

We work closely with each client to understand their unique needs, offering thoughtful, customized solutions and ongoing support. As co-learners and researchers in the field, we’re proud to walk alongside our partners, sharing a common vision: to provide exceptional care and meaningful early learning experiences for every child in our communities.

What We believe

  • Children are capable and full of languages.
  • Educators deserve support, beauty, and belonging.
  • Workplaces should feel safe, respectful, and inspiring.
  • Professional learning should nourish both heart and mind.
  • Written materials should reflect the soul of each program.
  • Resources should invite curiosity, creativity, and connection.

Guided by the BC Early Learning Framework and inspired by the relational philosophies of Reggio Emilia, our company exists to strengthen the field of early learning — offering educators the tools, opportunities, and inspiration to thrive in their work and honour the children they teach.
