Duration: 1 hour
This workshop explores the developmental importance of risky play and how it supports children’s confidence, resilience, emotional regulation, and physical competence.
Grounded in the BC Early Learning Framework and current research, it highlights the educator’s relational role in fostering emotional safety, offering co-regulation, and supporting children as they engage with challenge. Educators are invited to reimagine risk as a meaningful and essential part of early learning rather than something to avoid.
