Duration: 3 hours
This workshop explores how co-regulation supports infants’ and toddlers’ emotional development, secure attachment, and early self-regulation skills.
Because young children cannot manage stress or emotions on their own, educators play a crucial role in noticing cues, interpreting signals sensitively, and responding with warmth and consistency. Grounded in the BC Early Learning Framework and the work of Shanker, Bowlby, Ainsworth, Siegel, Bryson, Vygotsky, Piaget, Jennings, Bandura, Langer, and others, the workshop offers four modules that blend theory with real classroom examples, reflection, and practical strategies educators can apply immediately.
